3/4 c sugar
1/3 c AP flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites
1 1/4 c whole blanched almonds
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sift sugar, flour, baking powder into a large mixing bowl. Add the egg whites and beat with a wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. Then stir in almonds, this dough will be quite loose. Spoon dough by a tablespoon onto parchment lined baking sheets 3 inches apart. Bake until light golden brown, 15-18 minutes. Remove cookies from oven and set aside on racks to cool completely before removing from parchment. Makes about 20 cookies.
